Questions
Is it safe to give Fenek my API keys?
Your keys go straight into Claude Desktop’s OS keychain (macOS Keychain / Windows Credential Manager), marked sensitive — Fenek never logs or prints them. It’s read-only and fully open source, so you can read every line. When you create a key, use read-only permissions. See the security page.
Can Fenek place trades or move my money?
No. Fenek has no trading or withdrawal code at all — it can only read. It never places orders, moves funds, or gives buy or sell advice.
Do I need anything besides Fenek?
Yes — the free Claude Desktop app for macOS or Windows. Fenek installs into it as an extension; there is no separate account or backend.
What does it cost?
Classic brokers like Trading 212 and the cross-broker overview are free forever. The crypto sources — Bybit and on-chain wallets — are part of Fenek Pro at $4.99/mo. You can also build Pro from source for free.
How do I cancel Pro?
Anytime, in the Polar customer portal — it is a simple monthly subscription with no lock-in, billed by Polar as merchant of record.
Which sources are supported?
Trading 212, Bybit (spot, derivatives, and Earn), and on-chain wallets for Ethereum & EVM (Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon), Solana, TON, Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. Want another? Vote for it in the Supported sources section above.
Does Fenek send my data anywhere?
No analytics, no telemetry. The only outbound traffic is your brokers’ APIs, a weekly version check you can switch off, and — on Pro only — a monthly license check. The security page lists all four.
