Install Fenek

What you need

  • The free Claude Desktop app for macOS or Windows — Fenek runs inside it.
  • Read-only API keys for the brokers you use (Trading 212, Bybit). Crypto wallets need only public addresses.
  • A Fenek Pro subscription ($4.99/mo) only if you want the crypto sources — classic brokers are free.
  • Nothing else — no separate account, no backend, no command line.

Step by step

  1. Download the .mcpb from the latest GitHub release.
  2. Double-click the file. Claude Desktop opens and asks to install.
  3. Open Settings → Extensions → Fenek and paste your read-only keys.
  4. Start a chat and run fenek_getting_started.

Updates

Manual installs don’t auto-update. Subscribe to release notes below — and Fenek itself will remind you in chat when a new version is out.
